Thanks for that. We have been following your posts on your project. Like yourself, we can't wait until next weekend when we get it in the water. I'm just glad I don't have to ride in freezing temprature.

I'm sure that you for one, appreciates how many hours Bruce has put into this build.

It's stuff like this, that when people start doing things and shareing info that opens the door for other stuff and ideas!! This is one of the reasons that the Polaris forum and skis do as well as they do!!! Hell I have a 94 Polaris 650 2 stroke that will run 60 MPH on the GPS, with very little tuning as I have not the time to do much to it, but thanks to the shared ideas and knowlage the ski runs as well as it dose. I hope the same will be true with the Honda's in next couple of years, as more and more people tear into there ski's and mod them. Lets face it, not everyone wants to experiment with a new $12k ski. I am just one of the odd balls, that stock isn't good enough. But I do not want to spend a fortune on it either, just trying to find the happy medium. Let us know how it dose!!!!!!

    Thanks,
    Rodney

to date we have spent just on $4000 AUS dollar, which is not to bad for what gear we have now on the ski.
The real test will come with the final performance numbers to see what difference it has made.
If anyone wants any info on what or how we have done things please do not hesitate to contact us.

So everybody keep on playing with your Honda's...........

What kind of intercooler did you go with??? I would also love some additioal info on the exhaust. In the next month or two I will be working on a custom intake manifold. I will keep everyone informed on this project as well.

we have used the macs intercooler for now, i have been speaken to a couple of intercooler manufacture's over here to design and make our own but now we just want to get the ski back on the water.
one other thing we have done is fitted another fitting to the jet unit and use that water pressure for the cooling of the intercooler. This allowed us to have cool fast moving water stright into the intercooler and then dump it straight out the side of the ski. The original flow went back into the cooling system slowing down the flow to the intercooler. I will post temps when finished.
The exhaust is fabricated form 2" and 3" 316 stainless steel.
we have made the inner pipe 2" mandel bent and the waterjacketed 3" mandrel bent for the outside, at the waterbox end it needs to be flared out to 3 1/2" to suit the coupler.
we have mounted the wideband 02 sensor into this pipe as we could fabricate the best position for it.
welding it all together starts today.
