Lake Austin - a little different view
The Lower Colorado River Authority lowers Lake Austin every few years in an effort to kill the Hydrilla and allow lakefront owners an opportunity to repair their docks and bulkheads. Usually they take it down about 4 or 5 feet.
This year they took it down about 10 feet. If you've never seen it, it's pretty interesting looking.
Here's a couple of slideshows of pics I took at 3 of the major boat ramps - Walsh landing (near the dam) and the 360 bridge, and finally at Emma Long Park.

gotta love the constant level though.. atleast you know how much it changes, unlike here on travis
