    Negative Ebay feedback

I bought a set of HSP 92 octane domes on Ebay. Package arrives today and there's 3 brand new domes tossed in a box with 3 pieces of newspaper wadded up on top of them. Needless to say one dome has scuff marks on the sealing edge. If I close my eyes and run my finger around the edges I can't tell where the marks are so I don't think there will be a problem. I've never left negative feedback before but I think in this case it's deserved. What do you think?

email the seller first. try to work it out. I know that if I recieve a negative without first being contacted, it's an automatic neg for the other guy.

contact the seller! and if he hasn't left you feedback you can count on yourself getting a neg in response! maybe some cash back or something? Ask shane how I pack parts no reason to be lazy Z

I've already received positive FB....I usually pay within minutes of auctions end whenever possible.

Previous emails to seller about high shipping cost and ETA were met with one or two word responses.

I never leave FB until seller does...the way I see it seller should leave FB once payment is received, buyer should leave FB after item is received. Any other arrangement makes FB useless to future buyers that depend on FB before bidding.

Here's my point. I paid immediately and seller sends precision machined aluminum parts banging around in a box. Damaged or not it deserves neutral FB at best.

thats how i love it when sellers leave feedback before i get it or right after i pay then i know there wont be a problem ,

that didnt happen in the box , even if there was no peanuts and saw blades and it was shipped by ups it still didnt happen that way

i would ask for a refund or refund the shipping , there prolly not gonna affect it but still doesnt look purty by any means ,

why didnt you just buy new they are only 60 $ a peice ,

Just emailed seller....guess I'll wait for a response.

Domes received today. EXTREMELY POOR PACKAGING caused damage to the sealing surface on one dome. How do you wish to proceed?

Yes, It did. Detailed pictures showed perfect, uninstalled domes. The domes were banging around in the box. The newspaper was just filling on top of the domes....they weren't even wrapped.

They are new, never installed. I paid 58.33 each, I bid exactally what they would have cost me from HSP....trying to help out a seller and build my own FB.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If a seller doesn't leave FB first then I don't leave any at all.

My only negative FB came for a seller that I payed within minutes and it took him 2 months to ship and the product was crap so I left neutral FB and he responded with negative for me. What a D***H***.
