    Speakers installed on RXP

I installed my Sonic speakers and amp today. They sound great for the money. I put the speakers in the hood area of my RXP. I wrapped the speakers is a zip-lock bag and attached them with a craft double sided tape called Terrifically Tacky Tape. It holds great. I was able to route the wires where I didn't need to drill any holes also. I put the amp in the little glove box area.

How do they sound in that spot. I found they didn't sound as good when not flat on a surface.

It is somewhat flat. They sound good even a little bass to them. I can deff. hear them better with top open but the sound is still good al closed up.

Thats pretty trick on your install. I read somewhere that an RXP owner took out the mirrors partially and placed the speakers in that area. I have been looking for a set of speakers small enough to fit in there that are waterproof. You could probably make a bracket out of plastic that would fit in the mirror inserts if that was something that causes interest.

I don't know too many people that pull tubes with their RXP so the mirrors seem pretty useless for most of us, don't they ?
