    Rude SC questions ?

    I have some questions?

    I am thinking of going Rude on my RXP with stock ECU for now.
    1) Can I just add Rude charger, Rude fuel regulator, and stock injectors, 4 inch intake, without having to do anything else such as reprogram ecu or etc?

    2) Will my S3 charger bolt directly up to my GTX without a gear change?
    3) If so, to run S3 on cast pistons and stock ecu would I need to add intercooler, and my 42 lb. injectors.
    4) would I have to change the fuel pressure regulator to 58 psi.
    5) Would this setup be safe on cast pistons if keep the stock ecu?

    I realize that I would not be getting the most bang for the buck out of the S3 at 7,600, but I already own it and if would work then why not. I think would be safer for cast pistons at 7,600 then 8,100.

    I just went back and read the thread on the new Rude reg. I have edited my first question to correct it to stock injectors.
    If I put my stock injectors back in then I could use the 42,s on my GTX since already have them?

    Do I still have to add that 58 psi fuel reg listed on the online store for gtx?

    i have a rude charger on my ski with the stock ecu with 4'' air intake and its makeing 13psi 8150rpm

    I wouldn't if I were you. Cast pistons the detuning of the rude...it just wouldn't be worth the trouble or the risk.

    I think he's wanting to do Stage 3 SC on the GTX SC w/ cast pistons

    thanks for replys,

    powerdoo - I have an 04 and you are working with and 08 -x so I do not know if is the same. Are you running the new rude reg with stock injectors?

    Jawz- Jerry already informed me that it was not a good idea to go rude and ecu on cast pistons. I was just thinking since I already have the S3 to put on a stock 185hp pistons with maybe ic and be ok?

    I think that I have been told to keep boost below 9 or 10 psi on cast pistons and be ok. Surely the S3 at 7,600 would be well below that, don,t you think?
