    Riva handlebars for GPR

Just wondered what size bars are on the GPR's? 26in, 29, or 31in. (Ski put away for winter storage, so unable to measure them). I would like to install a set of polished bars that RIVA sells using the OEM neck. Just bolt them on with a billet throttle lever. Any help would be appreciated. Also new grips. Can OEM trim housing still be used on the left side?

There is a bunch of threads on this in detail. You will want @ least 31" so you can use the stock trim.

stock bars alone are 28 1/2" wide, with trim, grips & bar ends they measure 31" and are 7/8" thick, and yes stock trim will work on riva bars you'll just have to drill the holes

Thanks for the reply. I guess I would want to go with 29in bars then if the OEM's are 28 1/2 wide. Right? Can I purchase from here or call Riva?

I have a set of the Riva's on my GP1200 and I have a bilge switch mounted on them and everything still fits. I know alot of people get 31" bars for the GPR's, but everything should fit on the 29's.

The 31" bars feel better and give you more control but the OEM cover gets really tight at the ends.
