    4-tech guys help us out

    http://www.maxsled.com/absolutenm/te...1009&zoneid=17

SKI_DOO just release a new 1200cc 4 stroke for the sled market. in the pic above, it appears to be similar to the 1500cc. Let me know what you think as they are only claiming 130 hp. Whats is the possibility of larger SC on this or throtle bodies?
    specs here on the 1200

That is surprising considering they are releasing an Etec engine for sleds in 09.

released both for next year. Skidoo claims it to be 2 different markets with the same HP. Some people just don't want a 4 stroke in a sled.

Maybe its because thay don't want a redily available 250+ hp sled out there

If 4-tec Sea Doo parts bolted up that can ba acived for way cheap.

No personal experiance, but Bombardier was founded to make snowmobiles(the first ones looked more like a smalll snow cat) because his dad died in blizzard. form there they had a small stint with unsuccessfull Sea Doos in the late Sixties then, the Sea Doos reappeard in 88 and have been selling like hot cakes ever since. My gues would be they are either the top manufacurer or close to it.
