    If that is true----you would think that they would start offering an ecu for the 04-06 skis with the new rev limit. Or a re-program for $$$.

    Yes that would be nice....an update for current ECUs...

    I wonder about knock control and other 'features' that the Riva offers...? Is this a new ECU with new technology or will it just be an 'extended' RPM version of the current technology?

    I would think lightened valves will have to go along with the standard valvetrain upgrade..

    Does anyone know how much lighter the titanium retainers on the Riva kit actually are? These things are small----very small. I wouldn't think there is much difference. The springs are allowing most of the extended rpm---IMO.

    How much weight do the valves save?

    Stock = 10.8 g
    Riva = 4.8 g

    I knew my friend's triple beam would come in handy after he kicked the drugs.

    Good info----Has anyone tried revving their 4tec to 8800 with the Riva Kit?

    Maybe jaws or Malte could chime in on this. 750.00 for 12 valves is insane---especially stainless/inconel.
