Yamaha FX HO
Hey guys, just got me a new fx ho today. Whats the first few things I can or should do to make it better? But I do not want to mess up my warrenty. Thanks Rod

First, would be to add a pump seal kit and intake grate ( grate is required on HO when adding pump seal kit ), an aftermarket rideplate (unmodded or one of OUR modded aftermarket plates ) will pick you up some substantial speed. a Solas Dynafly impeller is a good add on.
engine wise, if your looking to retain warranty ( of coruse that depends on your dealer ) look into replacing your stock paper filter with a high flow breather.

Best way that I can describe the handling and overall characteristics of the hull is that it feels "slippery and responsive" to any rider input.
Haven't got a GPS so I can't give you an accurate top speed but it more than eats any competition when I hit the rough open water.
