How is the cooling arranged ? is it direct water cooling or water to water heat exchanger?

Interested as we run in salt water

You don't have to worry about running the Sho in salt water, all the current yamaha's are built for it. They are probably the best salt water protected pwc on the market. Just be sure to flush after every ride also rinse engine & bilge area then dry out & spray with a water displacer.
As I'm sure you Know, it does'nt take long & will keep everything in good condition for years.

So true. We go on long trips wherein we used HO's. These trips can last for up to a week and the skis would just stay in the water. It only gets flushed and cleaned when we get home. No problems whatsoever.

    Thanks for the replies

We are looking to change from Seadoo's because of reliability issues and local dealer service and warranty back up (or lack of it)

How do you find Yamaha back up?
