my powervalves keep circulating when the ski is off. does anyone know what may cause this? im thinking the powervalve motor is bad. does anyone know how to check that maybe with a volt meter.

The powervalves are supposed to cycle once when you turn the ski off. It is known as the cleaning cycle.

Pull the PV motor and you will see corrosion where the power wire is soldered to the circuit board. The motor casing is not waterproof - far from it. Replace the motor and seal the whole thing with silicone.

got to be water or some other agent causing it to short across the relay... this is probably the only item that can run with the ski off and the lanyard pulled... power probably goes right where fullboogie said... good luck
