have you cleaned out the pv connectors, sounds like a short(water),i have no pv's but i am sure i have heard the glovebox drain is right above the pv motor, got to be woth looking at to see if some water has found its way in there....

The powervalves are supposed to cycle once when you turn the ski off. It is known as the cleaning cycle.

Pull the PV motor and you will see corrosion where the power wire is soldered to the circuit board. The motor casing is not waterproof - far from it. Replace the motor and seal the whole thing with silicone.

sounds a water/corrosion problem, till you find it disconnect the battery when not in use...

check plastic plugs and as boogie says pull the boot and check out the circuit board

got to be water or some other agent causing it to short across the relay... this is probably the only item that can run with the ski off and the lanyard pulled... power probably goes right where fullboogie said... good luck
