    Wow....those look great...the only drawback with the metal might be corrosion... after long period of use..

    they are all aluminum ski doesn't stay in the water so maybe clean they up once a year or maybe powder coat them but i like the brushed aluminum look

    very nice

    just a thought how about for added strengh you weld also a braket from the bottom of the block off to the middle where your hands are holding in your last pic?

    we think alike.. that is going to happen before i bring it out as i primarly ride lake michigan with 1-3 footers most of the time
