What does RIVA BOV do ???

Honestly the only gain you will see is reduced supercharger clutch wear.........if you feel that it's worth paying for ....go for it.......I run a BOV on my RXP (not a riva bov) but 90% of forum members don't.............

like the other guy said it will simply reduce sc clutch wear. It's a supercharger BOV so you won't hear the blow off like you do on cars w/ turbos. You will notice the sound at idle and quick revs. Other than that they really do not do much. I would try and find a used one if you are going to try it.

I think when i change my IC setup this spring i'm going to give a BOV a shot. I kill clutches with a Riva S3 SC like it's going out of style and i want to see if it makes a difference. I've been here for all the debating but i have to just see for myself.

It all depends how, where you ride, and the mods in your ski. If you have a heavy modded ski it is always safe to run a blow off valve to release all the pressure left inside once you release the throttle at high RPMs with high boost present. Also if you ride in choppy conditions is always good to run a blow off valve so your clutch wont take so much abuse everytime you hit a wave and jump. Also blow off valves would make your S/C clutch last longer and less slippage over time....
