    951 X4 crew chime in

    im needing a new motor and im debating the 951 swap, what are the basics and anyone know of a write-up on the net on what/when/basic how-to's on the swap?

    Man there is a lot of work to doing a 951 x4 setup. More than you think there is to it. Mostly setting up the front motor mount and getting the alignment correct. Then you have the pump shoe setup you have to deal with, then setting everything up in the ski. Good luck, will worth the money to do one though as they are fast.

    Shooter is right the front mount location needs to be moved exhaust outlet moved rear electric box moved hull clearanced for the pipe pump shoed milled pump modified along with 10 other little things

    thanks guys, thats basically what i was needing the information for to decide whether or not i wanted to take on this project... ill prolly just get a new 787 and go from there thanks
