    On a GP1200R, it was a either 35 or 45 hp gain.

The Factory Pipe Products GP 1200R/1300R Triple Exhaust Kit will add a huge boost of 40-50 additional horsepower to a stock GP 1300R engine. NOTE: Must use 15/22 or higher degree impeller to reduce the cavitation created by the additional 60 horsepower the Stage 5 Kit produces.
    Thats from r&d

Yes, since u are rev limited. Thats the problem.

If memory serves me right, tripples need to run in the 8000 rpm range to produce optimal power.

So on a 1300r efi, they will be out of the powerband. Hence why u only get ~40hp vs ~70hp on a 1200r

Note also that the pipe out are made for the 1200r size wise. Not the 1300r +.
