    1200 carbs 1100 reeds

hey guys quick Question can i use 98 1200 nonpv carbs on my 1100 with 1100 reeds? or should i use 1200 reads an will carbs and reeds bolt right on?

the reeds will work if your useng the same cage for the 1100 or 1200 but you need the proper manifold for the selected carbs and the 1200 reeds and cages are better because they are larger

I believe you will find the 1100 uses 38mm and the 1200's use 44 mm and have a different bolt spacing and therefore a different intake Z

Z's right. different intakes and 44mm carbs on the 1200. The engines and exhaust are a drop in replacement, except for the electrical. The 1200 uses a remote mounted box, different flywheel and different cdi. If you get the 1200 motor you need all those as well.
