Best sealant to stop leak on rear exhaust (riva)

I need to fill in a lot of the gap from using the 2 3/4 hole saw and to make sure this outlet doesn't leak. I don't care if I never have to take it out. I was thinking of using a bunch of 5200 in the inside of the hull. WHat does everyone think. THanks

Peter, use 3M 5200 fast cure marine sealant, this is the best product by far for this job

Don`t use the fast cure. Use 5200 regular in black. Let it set for a minimumof 24 hrs. It`ll never leak and to get it off you`ll lose gelcoat and possibly a whole hunk of layup.

I`ve read it a million times and want to say 36-48 hrs. Problem is all those million times was no less than 10 years ago. My experience with it was 24 hrs. 48 to have full cure.
