    A new conversion- MY XLRXT!

I have decided to build another conversion ski along with my GPRXP. I am taking a 2002 XLT1200 hull and putting an RXP motor in it. My motor with all the goodies is going in this one, and a bone stock RXP motor is going in the GPRXP. This is going to push my ending dates far back on both projects. My goal is to have both this and my GPRXP done, minus the paint by memorial day weekend. Here are some pics of the hull. I call it.... the XLRXT!

You may need a new designed shaft than what is in the GPRXP. If you do not put a 2" extension on it (not really needed) MAYBE the shaft will be forward the correct amount to use the stringer mount. If it DOES work, then you might be looking at a pain-in-the-ass to install the engine, since the shaft would need to be IN the engine, to line up to the stringer...

Maybe it's time for a different design on this one. I'm trying a straight spline in the MSX conversion, with a coupler on it. Of course, I have a ton more room than you are working with, but this still might be better than the current design, since you probably shouldn't kill the wall. It looks integral to the deck and liner.

Well Mark, I am waiting for the hull to arrive here in the next 2 weeks or so before I make any decesions. I need to take some measurements and immediately make the same hull cuts as are on the GPRXP. Afer I do that, the hard work begins.

I would but the only problem is that I wouold be waiting for the next year or two to get a motor affordably.

Nope, just had the misfortune of working on several. Several that had extensive s/c washer contamination.

    Haha made in Austria

They are like working on a BMW, I am an Acura man myself

Oh BTW SMW says, "Hi, Betty!"

No hate here, it's all good, if you ride a PWC it's even better.
