    2006 RXP vs 2008 RXP-X

    Hello,

Live in the UK and just traded my 2006 RXP Black and Maya gold in for a 08' RXP-X have i done the right thing?

Be interested to hear any comments from people that did have a 215hp RXP and have since ridden the 255hp...?

    Thanks.

    Tom

I have an 06 RXP. And I'm getting an RXP-X in a month or so.
Just don't have any info yet.
I think you made the right decision.

What kind of riding do you do? Ocean, lake, river?

Without a doubt you made the correct decision.

Mostly open sea skiing, got some great coastline here in South West UK and have lots of places to visit. We do have a failry large tidal range which you have to bear in mind and the weather can get pretty bad..!! Which can make for some interesting riding!

Some of the Skiing in the states looks amazing, especially some of the rides listed on teh sea-doo website...

Get the RXP-X on the first of April when our Jet ski pods go in the Marina, looking forward to it!!!!

I have just taken back my rxp-x with 2 hours on it. Very nice ski but it was just not the same as my 04 rxp. Had to look after it no scratches no marks and for $24000.00 i wasn't going to enjoy it the same. You need to be able to enjoy what you have otherwise whats the point in having it!! Also i was spoilt as my rxp had the b-kit, riva ecu and injectors and lots of other goodies probably 280hp plus, it was an 80mph ski.. All i can say is if you think you have done the right thing then go and enjoy it.

i agree ive ridden the x ,if you want acceleration the x is for you but if you want top end speed as well id stick with the old rxp and put a stage 3 on and keep the change
