Hose on coolant overflow tank...
Does anyone know where the clear hose coming off of the coolant overflow tank goes? When I was cleaning out the engine compartment yesterday I noticed that that clear hose was connected at the top of the tank, but the other end was not connected to anything. I'm assuming that should connect to something.

That is the overflow hose, it does not connect to anything. It should be aimed down in the hull in case your coolant has too much pressure and needs to overflow. Leave it be.
hope that helps.

also in case you have not read through some old threads....near the VTS motor while you are down there....there are two hoses w yellow connectors that have small zipties on them....replace those with new zipties or do what Jerry and many others have and use small hose clamps. Those small zipties have been known to break..

Cool thanks whistler! I will definitely look into replacing those zipties.

Your welcome. Welcome to the forum btw. You will find a TON of great info on taking care of your ski. Also you should look into getting metal SC clutch washers to replace the ceramic ones which can shatter when overheated and destroy your engine. On the left bar 4 items down you can see SC clutch failure and right above it jerry offers his help.
I sent mine to Jerry and had it back in a week looking GREAT!!!
