    Sealing 4-Tec Case Halves

The manual states to use Loctite 5910. Is this the best gasketing material for the case halves? Is there something better? Any tricks on sealing the cases?

If there is no gasket.. I'd go with Permatex black sealant or ULTRA black sealant; just enough the squeeze out of the case.

The Right Stuff is made by Permatex but its better suited for case sealing than the Ultra or Permatex black.

use "right stuff", and notice the rough-finish on the case mating surfaces, just enough to fill this in, u don't want it squeezing all up inside the case. I does not take much to seal it.

Yep, me 2. Good points by 9sec on how much to use. I have to be careful about this - I am usually a "use too much" junkie. Can you guys that have done this elaborate a little. 1/8" bead all the way around??? Do you circle the bolts, or just use a single bead.
