if ur stock air box that is usually on the gas tank is removed... then the stock IC will slide right out of the manifold without taking anything apart.
stupid easy... one small E8 torx bolt holding the clamp... twist it while also trying to pull out... very simple

Just take your time with the stock ic removeal. It acts like it does not want to come out but it will with patience and time. I was worried about removing mine and it finally just came out.

Make sure you get the back gasket when you pull the IC out, sometimes it falls of in the intake.

I did mine last night and it came out about 75% before the top corner of the gas tank changed the angle and wouldn't allow to come off. Some get lucky, some don't. If it will not come all the way out...you simply remove the 7 (same size bolts) from intake manifold and tilt it up while pulling out. Replace bolts, snug up...good to go. I spent 20 minutes trying to get it out when it took 10 to remove the bolts from the manifold and pull it right out!
Live and learn.
