    Now what should I do?

Well I just put in another post that I finished my ridepalte, skeg and intake project. I went out yesterday and the ski ran faster then ever but just pulled out some of the silicone that I used fill in the area between the grate and plate. While cleaning out the silicone I noticed that the grate is not straight. the left side of he grate is hanging lower. I don't know if the brass insert has pulled out a little or the grate was crooked when I pt it in. What should I do now? Is it worth pulling the grate back off to check the insert? I had to epoxy the inserts back in after I took the grate off because they spun and pulled out. They should be solid. If you look in the picture the right side of the grate is lower hen the left. The right side doesn't line up with the pump shoe intake.

WHAT THE HELL !!!. I just took the grate off and the brass inserts have pulled out about an 1/8 of an inch. I epoxied them in. Now what do I do. How do I get the inserts back out now and If I do get them out what epoxy should I use to hold them in. I used marine epoxy.

They are loose now? or they hadn't set when you installed the grate and are now set too low?

I expoxyed them back in flush in the pump shoe holes. I let them set up a couple days. Then I put the grate on. I rode it yesterday and tonight after I noticed the grate looked like it was lower on the right. I took the grate back off and found that the brass inserts had both pulled back out about an 1/8 inch. I used marine epoxy. Is there something better to use or should I have made the insert hole in the shoe a little bigger to hold more epoxy?

I will try that. Any advise on what to use to hold the inserts in or other options I should try would be great.

I hope you are spared Darth. I just pulled the inserts back out. They came out really easily. the epoxy did nothing. Should I make the holes bigger so more epoxy can get around the inserts? Maybe I didn't clean the holes out enough?
