    That is why we had both of our kids into swimming lessons at 6 months.
    The familiararity with water may save their lives someday.
    They both love the water.

    Darth, I think the point was that even a very small toddler can be taught how to paddle, roll over on back to rest and then keep going. Without some instruction, the young child will not know what to do and will panic. Kids who spend anytime on or near water should get training, probably the younger they start the better.

    After watching that, my 1 year old will be getting swimming lessons soon. I have a 23,000 acre pool in my back yard.

    I see I didn't miss anything, I thought the video would have insturctional content or at least a link to an organization that does teach parents and toddlers about swimming.
