    D-Plate?

I have been reading up on what everyone has thought about the dplate, and i came to think that it would be more of a hassle then any gain. Everyone was talking about how they had problems with the temp. sensor, and they had to start testing different resistors so that the annoying beeping would go away. So if any of you have a 2006 GP1300R and went through all of this, please post, and let me know what you thought of it. Thanks.

its not that bad and it will fail like mine did, and if your unlucky it may get stuck in the pipe like mine did..

on the 06-07 you don't need a aftermarket temp sensor. just keep it unplugged. some say it might go off but all they do is put the aftermarket temp sensor in, start the ski, turn it off, and unplug it. on mine i just left it unplugged and it hasn't gone off yet....knock on wood.

You are way better off with a d plate, The 1 ohm. resistor that riva sells does not work well on the 05 and later. Some people leave them unplugged, some leave the stock sensor plugged in. I go to radio shack get a 2 ohm. resistor and put in with good results.
