GPR - No Spark
I had a guy contact me after seeing my For Sale post on Craigslist for my ski. He has offered to pay me to fix his ski so he can sell it. It is a 2001 GP1200R.
I have never experienced a no spark issue with the GPR so I am looking for possible areas to address first. Motor turns over fine there just isn't any spark and the plugs were tested and showed no spark.
From what I have read through my search, it could be the stator. What areas should I look for and tackle first?

Make sure that you do not have a coolant temp. sensor beeping because that will kill the spark also.

Have you gone through all the obvious things like inspecting all the connectors for corrosion and insuring that they are all seated properly?

have you looked inside his electrical box? maybe his coils are bad, wires are cut? fuses?...

The ski is still at his house. I have just gone by to meet him and introduce myself and get the basics. I plan on bringing it back to my house at which time I will start running through the list of pontential fixes. I will just go down the list of what some of you recommend.

I have a stock cdi I can send you to try if it gets to that point. I wont be putting the ski back together until next month anyway.

next you might try
replacing the complete electrical box, there are lots of those floating arround - I have 2 in my basement
or replace the gauges (again I have a couple of those too)
electrical problems are a nuisance, I think the easiest thing to do is to start swapping out parts

Anybody willing to send an electrical box I can try out. If it works I will buy it. Either way will pay shipping as well.
Shooter might have one I will ask him.
