Stock Steering vs UMI Steering setup

I'm debating wether to keep the stock steering system or go with a UMI setup. What are some of the pros and cons of both setups ?

I am debating this right now because I want to do other things like my ecu and valvetrain...

Bro UMI is the bomb (for lack of a better term)
no slop, convert to finger throttle, aftermarket switch housings, cool looks, somewhat adjustable, different ratio turning radius, quicker/steering... all metal, no plastic...

even tho I had it on the GTX, the seated position, bar position, finger throttle was all set up for my height, IMHO a better feel to it...PR...

I'm able to control the boat much better with the diff stem angle of the UMI! Hands down a great investment.

The UMI is nice, feels much better than the stock setup.

I love my UMI and wouldn't go back, BUT I also liked my Riva bar extensions aswell.
The bar extension made the ski feel better and I had more comfort, because of the finger throttle. It is cheaper and would allow for money to go to other mods.

IMO it all depends on your budget. You could almost buy the valvetrain upgrade with the savings going the Riva ext route.

    UMI Around $500

    Riva Bar kit $180
    Valvetrain $450 (Greenhulk coupon ofcoarse.
    Total $630

Just away to look at it I guess.

I already have the riva extensions with the finger throttle, so thats not really costing me anything right now. It was money that was spent along time ago so that doesnt really count.

The UMI is around $500.00 bucks, I could use that money to get my RIVA ECU or the valve train upgrade.. Do you see my point now?

Im sure the UMI is the chit ! but right now its more of a what would you do first, type of question.
