FIREFOX Auto Update Hosed me
I've gotten more, and more used to using firefox over the last year. I have to use IE at work, so I use both.
However, I've pretty much let firefox update itself whenever it wants. I only have the pdf file addon. Nothing else.
So it did an auto update, and now all my freakin favorites are GONE. All my firefox settings are now default. Somebitch this sucks.
I bet I had 200 favorites. Gone. Poof.
Any of you smart guys know how to retrieve my lost favorites? I don't really care about settings.

Using IE right now too. Man this site is IE unfriendly compared to Firefox!

if it wasn't that long ago that it did the update and you havn't done much work on your computer you could do a system restore to before the update, but then you'd probably have to update firefox again and it might wipe everything again.

I found a backup of all my favorites...but I'm now trying to get firefox to recognize them as MY favorites. I've done a rename, and might just do a reinstall.

Go to "bookmarks" , "Organize Bookmarks", "File" and "import"

Find your backups here. Put this in a folder and hit enter. Open folder and find bookmarkbackups. Find a date before your machine went bonkers.
