    I learned 2 things today

    1. PSI has triples for the Fuji with 2 different head pipe sizes.

One is 1 7/8" and the other is 2". The 780 flanges on the engine from Cali. will not accept the triple pipes I got from Texas. But, they will accept the pipes I got from Al. Thought that was interesting....

    2. Wiseco really has crappy customer service.

So I ordered a new piston (633M07200) to replace the seized one on "my ride." The place I bought it from, sent me a new run they manufactured. It doesn't have the "voids" in the sides just above the wrist pins, like the old ones I have, or the stock Polaris. Contacted Wiseco directly (15 min. from my house) and they tell me there will not be any problem mixing the two as long as they weigh the same. Guess what, the new slug is 30 grams heavier without the "voids" and will not exchange it because I didn't buy it from them directly. Said I need to deal with the vendor I purchased it from. Who has just replied that I can grind some material from the inside of the piston, or buy 2 more at a slightly discounted price. But said Wiseco prices have recently gone up since my last purchase a month ago, so he's not sure how much of a deal he can cut me.

F Wiseco!!!!!! I'll never buy another piston of theirs again.

If so maybe you should have bought their brand.

    3. Your vendor sucks. Let me guess? He won't let you return it either. If he does refund you money, drive down the street and get the right one.

I thought sh!t like that only happened to me. Good Luck!

WSM all the way next time.Cheaper too and more forgiving. Call again and ask for a sales manager, then tell them about Green Hulk and is size. maybe they will think twice.

xlint, IF you ever go Wiseco again let me know when you need something, I have an account with them and purchase direct with no issues.
Very interesting about the pipes, I didn't know or hear about that either.

Al, they do look exactly like those.

That is the one I need, the new version doesn't have the "port". (thanks Z)

I was told the "port" was for weight savings by Wiseco. (30 grams difference between "ported" and the "portless" style) I wonder if it has something to do with the rapid expansion? More metal may take a bit longer to expand. Possibly trying to do away with their cold seize issue which they are notorious for.

I don't know the reason for the change but I do have this last one I might part with to the right project.

With our history, I would like you to package that in a "safe" for shipping.

    Please part with it...
