    Ski-Doo new engines to come...

I know it's a little bit off topic in the Sea-Doo section but i thought i'd share that with you anyway, Ski-Doo have 2 new engines for it'S snowmobile market, here's a peek:

For myself i'd jump on the e-tec one, i'm not ready for a 4 stroke yet.

I like the four stroke. I have been waiting to see BRP put out the same amount of effort into sled 4tecs as ski 4tecs. It definitely sounds bad ass.

We have the demo etec at our dealership already.
108 mph stock on the radar and it runs on very little fuel and oil.
I wish they would put it in a three seater watercraft. The fuel economy would probably be less than half of what a four tec takes.

Really, that seems fast for a 600?! I didn't think that etec would be much of a performance snowmobile engine considering how "economical" it was designed to be. Do you know what the HP rating on that engine is? Damn, I want a new sled now.

Sounds like it would make a good GTi engine. so does the twin cam 1100 4 tec

The motor is very performance oriented. The etec outboards are the same. They run very strong.

The only reason i'D choosed the 4 stroke one, is if it has a turbo kit on it !
