Should I add the shim kit to my supercharger clutch when installing my stage II?

My advice is do not touch your stock clutch until if/when it fails.

that's what i'm gonna do to my RXT..... i ain't touchin the clutch or adding a BOV until the stock clutch goes.

i'm gonna add minor mods like air intake, SOLAS, NOPAS, Vortech and that's it and leave the clutch as is. when i lose it then i'll cross that road.

    don't fix wat ain't broke.

Yes, cross that road and cross that road by yourself you will. I just got off the phone with BRP. Good luck to those few that have problems and don't have the knowledge or resources to address the problem yourself. And that is "MY" experience with "MY" ski. My advice......Be 100% positive of which oil is being added to your new $11,000 ski, Do not ride under conditions that rely on the supercharger clutch, and if your clutch falls to pieces you damn well better make sure all the debris is cleaned out of the entire motor.
    Good Luck

I feel as if my ski is in surgery. My local mechanic is competent and understands all the concerns I've shared with him about the Vortech and H/D clutch kit. Now I just have to sit in the waiting room and hope for a successful operation. Could I have done more, searched further, gotten more answers to help my ski...oh it's tough being a parent.
