    Riva ECU

Can I use the same Riva ECU in two different boats or it will work only in one?

It is 'supposed' to be married to a throttle body as Sundance has said...however...sometimes they will work with other throttle bodies (so it has been said)...it is just blind luck/chance if it does....you will have to use the lanyard for that Riva ECU on both skis....you should also understand that both skis must be the same year skis with the exception being 04/05 skis...

In theory...if your plans are to switch back and forth between skis you will also have to switch impellers....you would have to swap Valvetrain Upgrades too...or install another set...and injectors too?

I assume that is not your intentions and you just want to move this ECU from one ski to another...?

    What are your plans...?

With the Riva ECU you are able to move it to a different ski and then just simply have it set up on the BUDS software to reset the TPS.

It's the Rotax Racing ECU that marries to the first throttle body it's powered up with and must be sent off to Austria for a reset. Usually though you are able to move it from ski to ski without a problem.

I think he is wanting to run two boats with the same ECU with a short turn araound between uses like inbetween heats at a race, at least that is the impression I get from reading his post.
