Thread: Ported supercharger

Hows it going. I have been reading about ported superchargers on line and went on ahead and went to work on mine to see what flow improvements can be maid. They claim by removeing all casting flaws and smoothing everything out you get lower supercharger output temp as well as more boost. As you see in the pics it is rough and you can see how much better it gets by sanding it down. The one thing I found out by doing this is that alot of the bolts on the supercharger were loose and backing out and may be the reason some boats do not make as much boost as they shuld because they are leaking. I made shure I used blue locktight when I put it back together. I will be testing it soon as I get some new exhaust gaskets. I also have the R&D pully kit plus R&D scoop grate, R&D sponsons , Rrated air intake, Riva ride plate no wedge and custom catch can kit I am also working on.
