    RIVA Stage 1 for RXP-X = 74 MPH

    http://www.rivayamaha.com/pwc_perf_p...rpm_rxpx_1.asp

Disappointed to not see a rear-air intake, but still 74 MPH, yeee-haww.

I figure make your own intake, buy the prop and grate. no need for some of that stuff, atleast for the speed increase.

Dont know whos in charge of Math down there... but those prices dont add up. The total would be $1389.70 for the prices listed, not $1259.70

And a $290 intake grate???? seems steep to me...

You really just need the prop. Do your own custom intake grate like the 83 mph rxp-x thread. Everything else is straight off Riva's shelf from 2 or 3 years ago.

Yea I notice the price for the grate also. I was first like WT.... then I found under there new section this.............
    http://www.rivayamaha.com/RivaStore/...Intake%20Grate

the stage II must be with the ECU and a lagrer SC wheel and there you will have plenty more get up and go on the top end.

You could do your own grate. However, with no wing (like the 83 mph rxpx thread) on the grate I dont think the pump will stay loaded as well. There has to be some negative effect of just 2 straight bars. For flat out top speed that may be the best option though.

More than anything I was just glad to see validation from RIVA that this ski could hit 74 rather easily. Everything else we saw and read wasn't completely credible, now we know.

I can't wait to get mine, 75 mph with a basically stock ski and warranty is awesome. It took lots of tuning, cash, and reliability to get my GP1200R to those speeds. And relatively it was still a slug out of the hole compared to this thing. I sure will miss that hull though.

figures they would still raise the prices to get more money out of you even when you dont need as much to go faster... glad i have the 215.

pricing looks off $289 or $149 for the grate?

i guess the intake mod is on stage 2....

I will give it to Sea-Doo, Bombardier, BRP, whoever. They are pretty much sticking it to the PWC industry. They seem to know best what people want and they give it to em. Doesn't hurt when you have all that money either.
