    My RXP

Got to finally take my new leftover 05 RXP out today air temp 84, humidty in the 40s, water temp in the 70s and elevation 1100ft above sealevel! Best of the day was 65.3 water smooth to slight chop I was sure impressed!
First time on a RXP and I was over welmed with joy!
Only has 1.8 hours on it now so I hope there is still a little left in her as the hours go up.

LOL, that's what i like to hear. to hell with break-in.... GPS runs on it's maiden voyage

run it hard, have fun.... but don't get TOO carried away there. wide open throttle bursts, nothing prolonged for more than just a few seconds. it's only going to get faster in time too

    My RXP

I am being told by a Seadoo tech that the stock ECU is retarded for the first 10 hours of break in. 10 hours being the break in period as the Seadoo manual describes.

    Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case, don't expect to get true results until you get past the 10 hour mark.

I have 3 more hours to go on my RXT.
I have more mods on the list, however, I want to see how my Riva Stage II performs after 10 hours breakin before I add to the list.

I have an 06 and was getting 8100-8140 RPM's from the beginning.

A friend has an 05 and his was around 7900 RPM's. After the 10 hour mark, it starting going to 8100 RPM's.

I made 12 dead stop full throttle passes first then rode the hell out of it to seat my rings!
My freind took it easy on his the first 5 hours and said he doesnt think his is as fast as mine. LOL

I was told by a riva tech, that the 06' models re-map themselves after 5 hrs.
