    Forgotten Fuel

The last time I had the ski out was on Thanksgiving day except for starting it a few times in the driveway. Like an idiot I forgot to put any kind of fuel stabilizer in it. Is it too late? Should I drain the gas and start fresh?

Do you have stock compression? If not, I would drain it. If mine sits longer than 4 weeks I drain it out of my GP because off the loss of octane. If you have stock compression just ride it and don't worry about it.

I would drain it to be on the safe side.

I forgot to mention that it is pre-mix. Does that make a difference?

I put it in my wifes car premix will not hurt it. Old gas will kill your ski though. I would put it in my Truck but that would kill it, I do run a little two stroke oil in my diesel though

Mix in some fuel stabilizer, then put the old gas in something that is not very octane sensitive.

    Lawn mowers, and such.

Or in your car gas tank, along with a fill up of high octane fresh gas. The oil mix will be further diluted, should not be a problem, in a regular gas car engine. Do it in several batches over several fresh tankfuls if you want to be more cautious.
