    Jerry - Impeller Upgrade Question

Jerry, Which upgraded impeller would be suitable for installing into my rebuilt '03 supercharger (GTX SC)?

I don't want to change anything else (injectors, etc.) so I suspect that could limit my choices - don't want to get something the machine can't handle in its stock engine form.

...still on the fence about spending $400+ on an impeller upgrade -- don't know if it will make much of a difference -- anyone got an opinion on that?

...2003 GTXSC with a bunch of bolt on crap...

The Green Charger impeller would make a big difference and you could run stock injectors. I'm out of stock right now but should have more in 1 week.

I think the Riva Vortech impeller is about to go on sale cheap so that may be an option for you. I'll have news later today.

Greatly improved acceleration, and quickness, maybe a little on the top end.

I think you would really like the improvement with a new wheel. I am planning on doing the same thing to my GTX soon.
As far as cost, your looking at cost of wheel, you really need rubuild kit, and metal washers, plus labor. Its not cheap, probably arround 800 to 900 my best guess.

Nothing is cheap on these skis when begin the mods.

Jerry, I meant "hum" to you being out of green wheels and the riva price drop.

I was thinking that because if I ever get someone to buy my S3 I was going to take you up on your offer and put the Green wheel on my GTX with needed upgrades in charger.
But with price cuts and no green wheel do I go Riva Vortech.
Something tells me wait and go green!!!

If you want a more powerful impeller then you should wait and go green. 1 week wait is not that long.

I don't have a stock intercooler... it is a 2003 GTX SC... is the green wheel still a go considering that?
