    Synthetic Oil

Has anyone used this oil? What are the benefits of using synthetic oil vs. conventional 2 stroke oil? On the label it says Category IV low temperature performance.

    Anyone know what this means?

That is for the snow mobile engines. A synthetic is going to burn cleaner and have less wear than a petroleum oil.

The label says Personal Watercraft too.

Synthetic lubricates better, especially in higher stress engines; Pro 785 with exhaust valves or something with triple pipes. Should burn cleaner too.

Synthetic is just better, but usually costs more.

Correct you can run it in a pwc. It was just designed for the VES system on the snow mobile. It is the pour point of the oil. It has a lower pour point so the oil does not gel up in the cold weather.

Ok thanks for the information. It is suppose to have less smoke and smell, according to the sales staff, was just wondering if anyone knows if that was true also.
