    GP1300R power valve synchronization

I noticed that when I turn the wheel that controls the power valve shafts, that there is a little bit of play in the connections (meaning play/ delay in #2 valv). Enough so that i can turn the wheel a llitle & move #3 turn more and get# to move with it and a little more and #1 will move.
When turned so valves are all the way (believe all should be open) valve #'s 2 &3 still have room (like 3mm or so) to turn (open).

I do have wave eater clips.

Is it supposes to be like that or should i tighten them up and fill in the gaps so all the pwr valves respond PERFECTLY in sync.?
    thank you

The wave eater couplers wear out and you end up with this problem. Chances are the wave eater coupler shafts are worn; the slots on the shafts rarely wear. If you want, you could try to close the shaft slots a bit with a plier (be sure to put some protection on the jaws to avoid marring the shafts). You can either replace the wave eaters or contact Isanediego Joe and purchase his couplers.

If you have wave eater clips did you get the wave eater couplers with it? if it is the oem couplers they do tend to be sloppy. The best ones are the RPM couplers you can buy them in the online store here.

Electric PVs suck. If you need, you can use pliers to gently close the gaps on the shaft slots to help eliminate some of the play.
