    Raider driveshaft fit a GP?

Well I sold the Skat pump a few months back and need to get a replacement as the riding season is approaching. I got a 14/20 prop already and am starting to get all the pieces for the pump. I came across a cheap pump out of a 95 WaveRaider 1100. I know it is a 155 just like what I need, but is the driveshaft the same as a 97-99 GP 1200? Part numbers on yamaha's parts finder are similar but not identical.

    95 WaveRaider 1100 driveshaft 63M-45511-00-00
    95 WaveRaider 1100 stator 63M-51315-00-94
    95 WaveRaider 1100 nozzle 63M-51318-00-5B

    99 GP 1200 driveshaft 65U-45511-00-00
    99 GP 1200 stator 65U-51315-00-94
    99 GP 1200 nozzle 65U-R1318-10-00

Yes, they will interchange from pump to pump

The Raider shaft has a double row impeller side bearing that carries the thrust load. The GP shaft uses a sleeve between the outer bearing races and both bearings carry the thrust load.

    Hi Darth,

So the driveshafts are the same length, spline pattern etc... meaning I could take a complete pump out of a 95 Raider 1100 and bolt it directly into my 99 GP. The only difference is the bearing setup, but it does not effect fitment?

I’m working on some pictures, but the bottom line is a GP pump has less bearing drag than an 1100.

1100 pump One double row 5205 and one 6205

    GP1200 pump One 6304 and one 6205
