    Test results today

60 degree air, 64 degree water, smooth conditions. Was not out for long. Ran a best of 80.0 @ 8550 rpm and had to back off the throttle to keep off the limiter. Had 1/2" of throttle left to go. I'd say of there were no limiter I would have picked up another 150 rpm or so. Boost was pulsing between 9.5 and 10#. Am running a skat 3-blade pitched at 14/19.5. Checked out the ski when I got home and noticed the rubber coupling attaching to the inlet of the intercooler was half way off and the hose clamp had come loose. That's why the boost was pulsing. As loose as it was I'd say I was down 1-1.5 psi of boost pressure over what is possible. Now that the boost leak is fixed, with a steeper prop I'd say 82 mph should be achievable. As for acceleration I'll let the attached graph speak for itself. Trim was in the neutral position and leaned over the handlebars as far as I could get it was hard to keep the ski in the water. Even at 25 mph sitting in normal position when I nailed the throttle the boat would come out of the water and come unhooked. The ski runs real good now. I'm done modding.

Nice job. I was wondering looking at your plot about that short plateau from 5-6 seconds. It looks fairly consistent across your runs. Any idea what is causing that? Problems staying hooked up at speeds?
