Ultra LX vs Yamaha VX Deluxe

    hey guys,

im new to this forum so please treat me nicely!

im looking to buy a new jet ski and within my price range i have narrowed down my choices to the Yamaha VX Deluxe or the Kawasaki Ultra LX.

im split down the middle on this choice at the moment so any advice to swing me either way will be much appreciated!

    thanks!!

These really are for 2 different markets.....VX is a light, nimble, beginners unit, the Ultra is a big cruiser. VX should run 52-53; the Kawi is around 56.
If price/ weight is an issue, consider the Kawasaki 15f (a bargain!), or a seadoo GTI

i too would consider the stx 15f. its a heck of a bargain i think. i really dont know why anyone would want the lx when you could spend a little more for the 250. the vx im sure is a quality ski but it lacks the power the 15f has.

on the weekend I was riding my buddies VX cruiser , its a great ski in all the normal points , turns nice, stable , great economy, storage space is a little small, and the big down side I found was that it was under powered !!
not saying that its not a good ski , I mean it will still pull a tube etc.

I found tha LX ultrra to be a lot better in the rough water, by that I mean smoother ride, 3 times the storage space, and has better performance , this is only my opinion, but if they are both in your price range personaly I would get the ultra LX

but both skiis are great and you cant go wrong with either.

Me would go 4 the ultra as you will love the cargo area firstly then the HP

I have an Ultra LX and love it. The 250 is more than a little expensive and, for my needs - skiing, tubing and touring - it works great. Goes fast enough for me and has been bulletproof...

his fat white honky work from home ass has never seen an ultra lx let alone got out of the chair long enough to take one to the beach, and he has only owned yammha powered tinnies, what would you know sir goes slow a lot. you get spanked by ultras with slower setups................
