Anything to LOOK or LISTEN for?

Just wondering if there is anything I should look or listen for...

I reinstalled my S/C after Jerry put in my metal washers

and also my pump from Skat should be heere soon, and I will be reinstalling it as well...

I know some of you heard some things after putting your skat pump back on your ski.

One thing I noticed is when I put my S/C back in my ski and had it all bnolted up..I stuck my hand and tried to spin the impeller and it had some play in it Like it wasnt completely tight with the S/C teeth to the Crank Teeth. ya know, is everyones like that? Like I could spin it back in forth probably 1/4 inch in either directiong maybe a little less....

    Thanks!

Man I just ran my RXP this whole weekend with the new Les' metal washiers Jerry installed and I loved it. I had no worries about my Ceramics anymore. So I actually road the ski harder and had more fun
without the issue's in the back of my mind all the time.

Oh and my Vortec is bad ass also...

Hey remember I call dibs on the RING!

Ight man you will get it if I ever get my old pump back...

But when you put your S/C in there did you notice any play with the impeller? I could rotate mine about a 1/4" and then I could feel the teeth on the S/C "bang" into the teeth on the Crank Shaft...Did yours do that?

Its normal to be able to rock it slightly back and forth.

    Blown:

When I put my prop back on after the Skat triple bearing mod, I noticed a slight rub on the stainless steel wear ring on one of the blades. As I would spin the impeller, I would hear a slight scrape.

When I got everything bolted back on, and ran the ski, it was a bit louder (Read the impeller was scraping the wear ring slightly).

Took it out and ran it for about 15 minutes on the lake, and now when I start it up on the trailer, it sounds just like it did before I got the mod.

Apparently the impeller must have "seated"

Yeah they are installing everything so once I get it back I just bolt it up, but I will check the impeller to see if it rubs or not. Thanks for all of the help guys!
