    Straight pipe question

    is it possible to put a straight pipe exhaust in a gp1300r???

    That depends on what you mean by straight pipe... There is a "free flow" that replaces your stock sound suppression.. and there is a turbo tube or stinger 1,2, and 3 that replaces the factory exhaust with a "non jacket" exhaust set up... All of these mods will cause you to loose rpm's and top speed.... Some or them will however increase your bottom end and decrease detonation...

    Remember, this is a 2 stroke motor not a 4 stroke. A straight pipe would be the worst thing you could put on a 2 stroke as you wouldn't get any reverse wave to charge the cylinder.
