    compression/squish

What is the area of acceptance for 93 octane and race fuel in a 1300 EFI GPR? Meaning what octane needs to be run with what compression?
Say 160 lbs and .047 to .051 squish? Is 93 safe? When does race fuel need to be used on the GPR.

93 octane should be fine with that set-up.

I would say thats safe even with a 3 or 4 degree keyway as long as you know how to set your controller. I've seen people run much more radical setups on pump gas with no problem.

93 should be fine....the compression is a tad high, 140-150 usually = pump gas 92/93. The squish is large enough to be on the safe side.

I know people running as much as 165 lbs on pump gas, just be sure you're running a free flow exhaust and don't get overly crazy with the timing.

The factory sound supression is what usually puts these boats over the edge.

3 degree keyway and riva free flow. Ski ran good today, was rich on bottom, but going to wait till after a tank of gas to tune the ski in. She felt good after the rebuild, much better than before and less vibration.
