    X owners tip s/c hose

Well it seems the hoses are prone to popping off the outlet of the supercharger we have had 2 skis do it already even after tightening all the clamps at pre delivery.
I would sugest fitting the band type clamp that the aftermarket intercoolers use with the allen key bolt through them.

We found to day that the ski handle really well stock we removed the opas paddles and surprisingly it handled worse without them!

yup... all the RXPs the same, not just the X... removing the paddles reduces your handling ability

thanks for sharing your experiences and tips on the hose and clamps on the supercharger!

Zoinks...that sucks! So that and the bailer tubes need to be addressed right after taking delivery. So the handling is worse without OPAS but that's without having any blockoffs like Rivas or the REs right?

that was just with removing paddles, we run on a purpose made jetski lake with race course so handling is what we are into not so much top speed although we were in the high 70's with our rxp and will be running our old engine setup in our X boat.
So as it handles so nice in stock form we will leave it rather than go through the hassle of blocking up opas and concentrate on engine setup.

Shibby we also have struck the 215's blowing the pipe off but not so much in the first 2 hours on 2 brand new skis!

Thanks for the heads up, Got 2 hours on my RXTX and will change the clamps before my next ride. This is why I love this site.

IMO I would just ditch the OEM clamps and go with the T-Bolt clamps. I got mine for like $3 bucks a piece, so for around $12 bucks you could have the 4 you need to stop this.

if you look at the s/c there are two hoses on it one going into the centre and one out the top this is the hose you need to secure with a better intercooler style clamp and tighten the rest. You need to remove the seat cowling to get at it.

This was true of all RXP's. The RE blockoffs worked well on the rxp, but none of the other so-called blockoffs were worth a crap.
