    Thank You All For helping achieve the goal of 80+ 1200grate full handling on this 2005 GP1300R.

    As of 2/16/08 it ran a 80.8 consistently for an amount of 4 runs back to back.
    Then shortly after that a 80.4,80.4,80.1. All runs above 7150rpms on a 14/26df in the regular 1/8 distance.

    Well 82+...here i come

    That's awesome. Very good numbers, really impressive with a 1200 grate or 800 grate.

    im still debating on going to 800grate and possibly looking at 82+ on a good day to just see just speed.

    800grate
    Bad-It's not worth the hole shot loss.
    Good-I could bring the pitch up after the gain of RPM with the 800 and gain some more.
    BAD-The Hole setup of the plate changes.
    Good- Mid Range snap is really strong on a decent size prop.
    Bad-I could take a really bad spill at 81+ and possibly die from a broken 800intake grate.


    I think the 1200 stays on.

    80 on a 1200 grate is hard to do. If I had a ski that did 80 with a 1200 grate, I would leave it on. Just borrow somebody's 800 grate to make a few runs just to see.
