    loss of speed?

    well i just installed a riva e.f.i. settings 4 4 1 7 and could only get 66.5 on the gps at 7200 to 7230 rpms last november about the same temp low 70s without the efi i hit 67.9 on the gps same amount of fuel. i didnt try it un hooked all my mods are in my signature shouldnt i gain speed with the efi?

    With the mods above you don t need a EFI controller

    - 2005 gp1300r 0.00 mph gps
    - power filter
    - d - plate
    - cat temp sensor
    - intake grate (1200)
    - pump seal kit - riva rideplate - E.F.I
    Try to put some washers under the front mounting bosses of that Riva plate. Drop the front close, but not below the pump shoe. That should get you some speed.

    i still cant gain any speed back shimed ride plate ,took it off and used stock one, also disconnected efi still no gain ? my ski has 60hrs any thing maintenance wise do i need to check that could be dropping my speed ? im still turning 7230 rpms

    Possible your pump shoe and grate are hanging low. This can make it impossible to gain speed.

    Your putting too much fuel in it with the controller.What kind of tach you have?
