Can you help me disconnect 2 cables..
I am needing to take take off/take off 2 cables. The steering cable, and the speedometer cable.
I need to take the speedo one off because I don't want to melt it when trying to take off the rideplate epoxy pieces.
and the steering because I can't get the tunnel reinforcement to fit with it there..

If you are going to ask a question in the forum you do not have to PM the same question to every one!!!!!
Its in the manual that you got off e-bay..
It also should be in the manual you were trying to sell on e-bay.

- Disconnect the steering cable where it mates to the steering arm.
- Remove the nut on the through hull fitting
- fish the cable through the transom.
- Disconnect the plug from the wiring harness behind the front bucket.
- Remove all the zip ties holding it to the hull
- Remove nut on through hull fitting
- Fish the cable out through transom.

I havent looked , but in a few days will be removing my steering cable.
The through transom nut that you remove, is it the one in the ski and you pull everything out the back, or the one where the transom bolts and you feed the cable inside the ski?
what good timing on this thread
