    Yamadoo Pump W/ Setback

yes, i made a hi-output yamaha pump fit my rxp. i have done this to satisify my own curiousity to see if there is any speed to be gained in the yamaha pump over the seadoo. i know there has been a lot of talk about this in the past. so i decied to put this to rest.

as u can see in the pics i used the front of a seadoo pump housing and welded to the front of a yamaha pump with also adding a 2'' setback extension built into the pump with out replacing the drive shaft. i have extedend the front of the impeller instead of replacing or exteding the driveshaft. this will allow me to go back to my stock pump with out changing the drive shaft .

i also machined a seadoo skat 3 blade to fit the yamaha pump. u can see where i welded the font ext on. i also had to cut the diameder of the impeller down to fit into the yam pump. also i had to machine the yamaha prop shaft down aswell and threaded it to fit the seadoo skat impeller.

as for now i'm going to use the 5deg 87mm exit nozzle thats on there and give it a try. i have 2 other nozzles that i machined to a 3 deg and 2 deg aswell.

i also have some other plans for the other half of my seadoo pump????
